Story Maps

Story Maps - Thousands of maps, surveys, and atlases were commissioned and published throughout North America and Europe in the 19th and 20th Centuries. We search through records and pull map assets from multiple sources and combine their insights, data, and assets to create unique visualizations which tell a complete story about a place in time.

Stitched Maps - Oftentimes finding historic maps of small towns, villages, properties, or areas of interest are split across maps or atlas sheets. Offered as part of our genealogy research package, we specialize in making custom maps of localized areas, and are experts in looking across assets to form a distinct, one of a kind map.

Mosaic Maps

Mosaic Maps - Some maps are spread out across several sheets and need to be stitched together to tell a full story.  Sandborn Maps, for example, were common in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and painted an extremely detailed picture of small towns, villages, and city blocks throughout the United States.  We over mosaic map-making for custom orders to your exact needs and specifications.
